Spinal Adjustments Including Low-Force Options

The spinal adjustment is the foundation of chiropractic care and its purpose is to return the spine to a natural state of health and alignment to reduce pain, muscle spasms, and nerve irritation, so you can enjoy your life pain free.

Dr Seery has been practicing for over 26 years and is proficient in many different Chiropractic techniques: Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson Drop, Cox Flexion- Distraction Decompression and Triton Decompression. For those who are uncomfortable with the traditional spinal adjustments, no worries. We have low-force, instrument-aided adjustments available with the state of the art Impulse IQ Instrument and Activator Adjusting Instrument. In any case, Dr. Seery will not begin your adjustment until you are fully comfortable.

Therapy modalities Including Non-surgical Spinal Decompression

We offer a wide range of therapeutic modalities to speed and assist your return to a healthy state. Dr. Seery will carefully choose from a variety of tools best suited to help you recover:

• Cervical and lumbar decompression therapy using the Cox Flexion -Distraction Decompression Table or the Triton Decompression Table and KDT decompression tables for those whose health challenge involves a disc herniation or stenosis.   Disc bulges and herniations

  Disc bulges and herniations are conditions in which the outer edges of the discs, located between the vertebrae, are damaged. This causes the jelly-like center to bulge or be pushed out. This is a surprisingly common issue. The quality and intensity of it depends on the type and position of the herniation. If the damaged disc is irritating a surrounding nerve, shooting or stabbing pain along with weakness in the legs, feet, arms, and hands is often severe.

  It is important that this issue is properly identified and promptly treated to avoid further damage. As a certified Cox practitioner, Dr Seery will thoroughly assess your spine to determine the extent of the issue and create the appropriate treatment plan to prevent worsening of the herniation, and provide relief from the associated pain..

  Financial.

  We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. Most Insurances accepted are: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Medicare, Humana, Health Keepers, and Optima/Sentara (to include City of VB Employees). We also offer a payment plan for those individuals that have no Chiropractic health care coverage or no Health insurance. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, debit or major credit cards.

  Cancellation

  If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 24 hours notice. We ask for this advance notice so that we can offer this appointment to another patient.
